IMPORTATION LICENSE: REGULATORY AGENCIES

IMPORTATION LICENSE

Many people make the mistake of thinking there is generic importation license that covers all items into a country. However, this is not true. The term importation license is rather vague and broad. First, the question of what agency regulates the goods should rather be of more concern to you. Thus, the importation license for bringing in wild animal is different from that used to bring machine spare parts. Similarly, the importation license used to import refurbished items from one country to another differs from that used to export new items. Hence, this article will give a list of regulatory agencies in Nigeria and the importation licenses they cover.
