FORMA IN NIGERIA: HOW TO PROCESS
In international trade, what usually happens is the exchange of currency, tangible and intangible goods across countries borders. In Nigeria, First of all, Form A serves as the document for initiation of exchange of invisible goods into the Nigerian. Invisible goods or services includes trades such as payment for home remittances, school fees, bills for medical, pilgrimages, other forms of travel, etc.. Consequently, besides travel allowances, one must complete this Form on the single window for trade before obtaining other invisible services. Hence, follow the steps below to complete:
Step 1: login to the single window with your Tax Identification Number – TIN and the username assigned to you by FIRS.
Step 2: click on the ‘online submission’ as shown below:
Select the CBN Forms
From the drop-down menu, choose the FormA
Step 3: complete the FormA:
NXP FORM IN NIGERIA: HOW TO PROCESS FORM NXP
Much like the Form M, Form NXP is used for the exportation of commercial goods. Also, the steps are basically the same as those described above.
NXP FORM IN NIGERIA: DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO PROCESS FORM NXP
- Applicable sales contract (if this is the case)
- A pro forma invoice issued by you the exporter
- Certificate of registration with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council
FURTHER DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR EXPORT TRANSACTIONS IN NIGERIA
- Applicable certificate of inspection
- Bill of lading or other shipping documents
- Commercial invoice or any other applicable invoices
